5th Grade Memory Book

Reported by on 3/23/18

Parents of 5th grade students:

The 5th grade memory book is different from the regular school yearbook in that it is exclusively for our Nancy Young Elementary 5th graders and it is a collaboration of photos reflecting their K-5 years at Nancy Young.

In this book, each 5th grade student has a half page dedicated to them which includes a kindergarten age photo, a fifth grade age photo and the answers to a short survey that the students will complete at school. The book also includes collage pages of photos that have been taken throughout their years at NYE. There is also a section for dedications that parents can submit for their student. (See attached flyer).

Unlike the regular school yearbook which has photographers who, throughout the year take photos for the book, whereas this memory book is created from photos that you, as a parent, provide to us. This memory book is dedicated only to 5th graders from their kindergarten to 5th grade. Without your help, we cannot create the book.

What do we need from you?

A kindergarten age photo of your child.

A fifth grade age photo of your child.

Any pictures you have taken at NYE events (field trips, room parties, social events and the like) throughout your child’s years at NYE.

Any dedications you/family/friend wish to submit for your child.(see attached flyer)

If you would like to see a memory book from last year, we will have one in the office for you to look through.

This memory book is a gift from the PTA. Each student will receive a free copy at the end of the school year. If you would like a full-color digital/CD copy of memory book, they will be available for purchase.(See attached flyer)
